TEXAS STATE ICE ANGELS
The Texas State Ice Angels was established in January 2014 as a support and marketing organization forTexas State Ice Hockey. Originally named the Bobcat Ice Babes, the team found new leadership and direction in 2018 following the name change to TXST Ice Angels.
The organization's goal is to promote the team in the best way possible through fundraisers, promotional events, attendance/fan support, and cheering at games. This organization also provides a great extracurricular source for members to grow personally, academically, and professionally.
Entry is open to all currently enrolled students of Texas State University in good academic standing who meet the organization's requirements. Recruitment for the TXST Ice Angels takes place once a semester.

BECOME AN ICE ANGEL!
The first step towards becoming a Texas State Ice Angel is to attend an interest meeting. This is your opportunity to hear more about our organization directly from the girls involved as well as fill out an application! These meetings will be held in September each Fall semester.
The purpose of the interest meeting is to provide information to people who have shown an interest in the organization. It is a time to have any questions about the organization answered, before committing to an interview. You will also learn about our week of recruitment events which are very HIGHLY recommended, however not mandatory.
At the interest meeting you will be given an opportunity to sign up for an interview. The interview takes approximately 10-15 minutes, and are conducted by the executive officers. This is our opportunity to get to know you as a potential new member! **You will need to bring the $20 non-refundable application fee to the interview.
If you are unable to attend an interest meeting, but still have questions or want to schedule an interview, sending an e-mail is the most efficient way of reaching out. Within 24 hours, someone will get back to you.
Following the completion of all interviews we will send out an email regarding our membership decisions.
The next time to apply to be apart of our organization will be Spring 2020.
Requirements:
★ Currently enrolled at Texas State University
★ Minimum 2.5 GPA
★ Able to pay dues each semester
★ Attend most meetings and games
★ Attend and participate in social events
★ Basic knowledge of hockey (if none, willingness to learn)
